Fleas bite and feed on their hosts. We commonly experience cat flea (Ctenocephalides felis) infestations in North America, but there is a dog flea (Ctenocephalides canis) that is more common in Europe. Pets spread fleas and their eggs inside homes. Fleas can be found in furniture as well as on your pets. Fleas lay approximately 50 eggs per day which typically drop off their host pet onto the floor, pet bedding or anywhere pets are usually playing or resting. Needless to say fleas can quickly infest a home.

Silverfish

Silverfish are usually found in moist, humid areas such as bathrooms, basements, wall voids, sub-floors, garages and attics. To control silverfish, use a dehumidifier to remove moisture from the home, repair leaky pipes and drains, eliminate moldy and wet wood. Remove items stored against or near your home’s exterior since silverfish can easily climb up walls and find entrances around windows, door frames, utility pipes and vents

Termite Control

Subterranean termites can cause more damage than any other termite species. Subterranean Termites build distinctive tunnels or “mud tubes” to travel to their food source and protect themselves from drying out. They eat wood 365 days a year, using their saw-toothed jaws to bite very small pieces of wood bit by bit. Over time, subterranean termites can cause extensive structural damage to a property causing buildings to totally collapse. Subterranean termites affect homeowners across the country, as they’re found in every state in the U.S except Alaska.
