Did you know only female mosquitoes bite and spread Zika, Malaria, West Nile and Dengue viruses. They love dark colors and some peoples’ natural scent actually is attractive to mosquitoes. They lay approximately 100 eggs at a time and their life cycle from egg to an adult is only 7-10 days. Some types of mosquitoes can breed in less than a teaspoon of water.
